The Z890M Gaming X brings Intel Z890 platform overclocking to a compact Micro ATX form factor at an accessible price. The 8+1+2 phase VRM with Thermal Armor Advanced provides adequate power delivery for Core Ultra Series 2 processors in smaller cases. Three M.2 slots including a Gen 5 slot cover fast NVMe storage needs. The rear panel includes HDMI and dual DisplayPort outputs for integrated graphics use — these are genuine rear video outputs, not Sensor Panel Link connectors. Note that this board does not include Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; a USB adapter or PCIe card would be needed for wireless connectivity. Two internal Thunderbolt AIC connectors allow adding a Thunderbolt expansion card. AORUS AI SNATCH provides AI-assisted auto-overclocking. Q-Flash Plus enables BIOS updates without a CPU installed.
