The T598 represents Thrustmaster’s next-generation Direct Drive technology, using an Axial Flux motor design that eliminates the cogging effect common in traditional direct drive systems. The result is smoother, more precise Force Feedback with clearer signal reproduction. The +100% overshoot capability allows the motor to briefly exceed its rated torque for more impactful effects during kerb strikes and collisions. HARMONY technology adds a high-frequency torque layer on top of the main Force Feedback signal, reproducing surface textures and tyre behaviour with greater fidelity. The Race Dash screen provides on-base configuration without requiring a PC interface.
